Code for the Kingdom Hackathon (2019)

With my friend and the CEO of TheoTech Christopher Lim, I led a two-day hackathon for a group of tech workers to build prototypes and projects for the Kingdom of God.

Introduction

I co-led a hackathon with the CEO of TheoTech Christopher Lim in Seattle called Code for the Kingdom, focusing on building tools and projects to help existing Christian, non-profit, and humanitarian organizations with their software needs. We divided the hackathon into three categories and recruited some sponsors for the event, which took place in May 2019 at Northwest University in Kirkland.

Don't Code in Vain, Code for the Kingdom: TheoTech Podcast

To prepare for the event, I spoke as a guest for TheoTech's podcast with the theme on the below Bible verse:

Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.
