Overview
"Date Night Dice" is a small side project I started in December 2023 and launched on Amazon on January 28, 2024. I sold 300+ units within the first month of its launch, grossing $4k+ in revenue. The product was featured as Amazon's "New Arrivals Pick" on the week of March 3rd, 2024.
Inspiration
The idea for this project came from a keywords trend search on Jungle Scout for "date night dice," which had a volume of 15k+ search queries in December 2023. At the time there was only one product among four sellers available, all allegedly knock-offs of each other. I contacted the manufacturer to see if I could customize my own design and developed, produced, and shipped my original customization within 45 days.
The listing photographs were professionally taken by the manufacturer prior to shipment, which was included in the cost package.
