Overview

Southpointe 24-202 is a two-bedroom two-bathroom unit in Maui that I remodeled and made it more modern. I had planned to live in this unit, but I decided to give the unit to FEMA to house Maui fire victims. This project was a large one, which includes

• Creating more open space in the kitchen, which required moving the kitchen sink plumbing line and rewiring some electrical lines.
• Tearing down two non load-bearing walls to create more space in the kitchen and master closet.
• Retiling the bathroom shower.
• Repositioning kitchen cabinets and appliances to make the kitchen appear bigger.
• Replacing carpet flooring with commerical-grade luxury vinyl plank flooring, which is scratch-proof, water-proof, and durable.
• Replacing old appliances to stainless steel ones
• Changing all light fixtures to modern ones.
